Abietane diterpenes from Callicarpa pedunculata

Five abietane diterpenes were isolated from CHCl3-solved portion of EtOH extraction from Callicarpa pedunculata R.Brown.On the basis of spectroscopic analysis,these compounds were identified as dehydroabietic acid(1),7β-hydroxydehydroabietic acid(2),7α-hydroxydehydroabietic acid(3),7-oxodehydroabietic acid(4),and 6,8,11,13-abietatrien-18-oic acid(5).These compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.
