β-Phosphoglucomutase (β-PGM) catalyzes the interconversion of β- d -glucose-1-phosphate and β- d -glucose-6-phosphate sequentially utilizing a transient aspartyl-phospho enzyme and a β- d -glucose-1,6-bisphosphate intermediate.
