Soluble and cross-linkable polyimides from a vanillin-derived diamine: preparation, post-polymerization and properties

Soluble polyimides with –OCFCF 2 side groups were successfully prepared from a vanillin-derived aromatic diamine. After crosslinking, fluorinated polyimide networks were obtained with high thermal resistance, transparency and mechanical strength.
