摘要
In recent years, fluorescence enhancement of molecules in the aggregated state of intramolecular rotamers, i.e., aggregation-induced emission (AIE), has attracted much attention. Notably, some AIE ligands can produce metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) with structural diversity and enhanced emission due to a rotational restriction mechanism. Based on this advantage, some AIE ligands have been used to construct MOFs that show interesting luminescence phenomena and good application prospects. In this paper, we review the research progress in this field in recent years and summarize their luminescence mechanism, structural design, property tuning, outstanding advantages and prospects compared with other AIE materials, and applications in sensors and biomedical therapeutics. Finally, the future directions of the integrated materials of AIE MOFs are prospected. It is hoped that this review can provide an opportunity to promote the development of AIE-based MOF integrated materials in the future.
