Recent systematic reviews on the outcomes of sulcus-deepening trochleoplasty with adjuvant medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) reconstruction at a follow-up of 2 to 6 years have found that the procedure grants good clinical outcomes with low redislocation rates.
