Ca2YScAl2Si2O12:Cr3+ phosphor-in-glass film for laser-driven high-power near-infrared lighting

A new Ca 2 YScAl 2 Si 2 O 12 :Cr 3+ PiGF was synthesized using rapid infrared firing, highlighting luminous output of 2626 mW under blue laser excitation, for near-infrared lighting applications in nondestructive detection, night vision and bioimaging.
