摘要
In the last 20 years, the application area of topology in chemistry was strongly extended mostly thanks to rapidly developing field of coordination polymer chemistry. We review modern methods and computer tools for study, classification, prediction, and design of coordination compounds, specifically coordination polymers and metal-organic frameworks. The applications of the methods are considered through the prism of the program package ToposPro and associated topological databases, which provide the deepest insight into the geometrical and topological features of coordination compounds.
