摘要
High silica zeolites such as mordenite type are very useful in adsorptive separation and catalysis in highly acidic or basic environments and also at high temperatures. The synthetic mordenite type zeolites are preferable to the natural ones due to their purity and controlled pore structure. They have been synthesized using various types of raw materials. This review summarizes the information available on synthesis, the effects of various parameters on synthesis, crystallization mechanism and kinetics as well as structure and applications of mordenite type zeolite molecular sieves.
