A clinical evaluation of techniques to determine the combined width of the maxillary anterior teeth and the maxillary central incisor

In this study, techniques to determine the combined width of the maxillary anterior teeth and the maxillary central incisor widths were evaluated. Measurements were obtained from the dental casts of 45 men and 45 women and related to their intercommissural width, interalar width, bizygomatic width, sagittal cranial diameter, interbuccal frenum distance, philtrum width, and age. Correlation coefficients were calculated for all relationships.
