摘要
Copper-catalyzed reactions have attracted increasing attention in the organic synthesis field over the last two decades because copper is earth abundant, economical, and serves as an efficient catalyst. Copper can often catalyze reactions without or with minimum requirements for ligands. This chapter highlights the most recent publications dealing with copper-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions between organoboron compounds and various functional groups. The ring opening reactions of various epoxides and aziridines, such as chiral or allyl, are presented, followed by Chan–Lam type reactions. The studies also cover functional groups such as nitrones, sulfones, silyls, and selanyls. Finally, copper-catalyzed reactions forming new carbon–carbon bond, including a single-electron mechanism, are presented.
