Psychosomatic status and psycho-behavior intervention in dermatological patients

A large number of dermatological patients suffer from various degrees of psychological disorders and or emotional stress which severely influences the prognosis and treatment of dermatoses.Dermatologists should pay attention to psychosomatic status of patients. It is recommended to synthetically evaluate disease severity and treatment efficiency based on objective and subjective symptoms of patients.Besides drugs, psycho-behavior intervention is essential for the management of dermatoses. And, the intervention should target symptoms and psychological reactions of patients, help them recognize corresponding dermatoses, relieve anxiety and restore self-confidence.
