摘要
Ultrasonic metal welding (USMW) technology receives widespread attention because of its advantages of environmental protection, high efficiency, high welding strength, and low joint resistance. This paper systematically discusses the research progress of the ultrasonic generator, transducer, booster and horn. Furthermore, the latest research achievements of USMW in improving joint performance, the numerical simulation of accurate welding process and the mechanism of interface bonding are summarized. In addition, future directions of USMW are outlined, aiming to provide references for the research of USMW.
