摘要
Carbon dioxide electroreduction (CO 2 RR), as a pivotal technology for closing the global carbon cycle, has garnered significant attention. Carbon-based materials stand out as highly promising CO 2 RR electrocatalysts due to their ultrahigh surface area, tunable composition and structure, excellent conductivity and stability, and cost-effectiveness. In this review, we systematically introduce the types, electrochemical properties, and advancements in CO 2 RR of carbon-based catalysts. Based on the clarification of catalytically active sites in various carbon-based material systems, we propose corresponding strategies for enhancing their catalytic activity. Finally, we provide perspectives on the prospects of electrochemical CO 2 RR catalyzed by carbon-based materials.
