[Interpretation of 14th Five-Year Plan for National Eye Health (2021-2025)].

Eye health is an essential component of physical and mental health, concerning the whole life cycle and all age groups, which is a major public health and social issue related to people's livelihood. With 2020 being the final year of the 13th Five-Year National Eye Health Plan(2016-2020) and the VISION 2020 initiative, under the support of the Bureau of Medical Administration under the National Health Commission, the White Paper on Eye Health in China was prepared, aiming to comprehensively introduce the achievements of eye health in China, as well as the work experience and challenges in the development of eye health. Under the guidance of the "Healthy China 2030" and with the aim to further promote the high-quality development of eye health during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and further improve people's eye health, the National Health Commission formulated the 14th Five-Year National Eye Health Plan (2021-2025). This paper focuses on the interpretation of the core content of the Plan, aiming to better implement the plan and achieve the goals.眼健康是国民健康的重要组成部分，涉及全年龄段人群的全生命期，是涉及民生的重大公共卫生问题和社会问题。2020年既是我国“十三五”全国眼健康规（2016—2020年）划的收官之年，也是“视觉2020”全球行动倡议的收官之年，在国家卫生健康委员会的支持下，《中国眼健康白皮书》全面介绍了中国眼健康事业所取得的进展、总结过去的工作经验、阐明眼健康工作中新的挑战。在“健康中国2030”规划纲要战略的引领下，为持续推进“十四五”期间我国眼健康事业高质量发展，进一步提高人民群众眼健康水平，国家卫生健康委员会制定了《“十四五”全国眼健康规划（2021—2025年）》，本文对其核心内容进行阐释和解读，以更好地贯彻执行规划并实现“十四五”眼健康目标。.
