Modeling and Dynamic Simulation of MARK XIIA Mode 5 System

In order to improve the ability of the Battlefield Situation Awareness, US and NATO allies designed the new Mark XIIA Mode 5 IFF system. Aiming at the problem of modeling and simulation of Mark XIIA Mode 5 IFF system, this paper constructs simulation model of Mark XIIA Mode 5 IFF system based on Simulink platform. Simulation waveforms and error code rate analysis are given. Experimental results show that the modeling method is effective.
