摘要
Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) diagnostic criteria are well established and the management of these patients extensively detailed in evidence-based guidelines, when angiography reveals obstructive coronary artery disease. In contrast, patients experiencing 'Myocardial Infarction with Non-Obstructive Coronary Arteries' (MINOCA) are often neglected and represent a clinical conundrum in relation to their ongoing diagnostic evaluation and management. The diagnostic criteria for MINOCA includes (i) the universal definition of AMI [1], (ii) non-obstructive coronary arteries on angiography (no stenosis ≥50%), and (iii) no clinically overt cause for the acute clinical presentation [2].
