摘要
The solution process is currently the most common method for preparing perovskite solar cells; however, their performance, even when prepared by the same procedure, is variable. One contributing factor is neglecting the ageing time of the perovskite precursor ink. In this study, we studied the correlation between the precursor solution ageing time and the subsequent photovoltaic performance of solar cells. We found that both freshly made and excessively aged precursor solutions resulted in poor perovskite films, exhibiting poor absorption and increased recombination sites. An ageing time of 6 h was optimal, which resulted in photovoltaic devices with greater performance, stability and reproducibility.
