摘要
Proximity labeling is a multi-tool approach suitable for analyzing protein-protein, protein-RNA, and protein-DNA interactions with temporal and spatial precision. The main advantage of proximity labeling methods is their ability to capture weak or transient interactions between biomolecules. Here, a broad range of proximity labeling techniques, their development, drawbacks and advantages as well as implementation in recent studies are summarized.
