摘要
A wide-band fast-sweeping tunable laser array has been designed and fabricated. Sixteen lasers are densely integrated with a 4-by-4 matrix laser array. The wavelength of each channel in the array deviates from the design wavelength by within ±0.2 nm, owing to the high wavelength control accuracy of the reconstruction-equivalent-chirp (REC) technique. By periodically on-off switching and current-sweeping of the distributed feedback (DFB) lasers, the continuous wavelength tuning range can be greater than 38 nm with a sweeping period of 10.7 ms.
