Complexes of cobalt(II), nickel(II), copper(II) and zinc(II) with dicyanadiamide

The complexes of the type MX2L2 and MX2L4 (MCo(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II), XCl−, Br−, NO3− and NCS−; L = Dicyanadiamide) have been synthesized. The structures have been assigned from chemical analysis, IR and magnetic data. The stereochemistry of the complexes have also been discussed.
