摘要
Summary Underground gas storage (UGS) - a technical facility designed to monitor the uneven gas consumption. Gas consumption may vary during hours, days, and seasons. Underground gas storages are created in porous rock formations, aquifers, depleted gas, gas condensate and oil fields, salt deposits, waste spaces of mining mines. The choice of an object depends on the properties of the reservoir. Currently, 22 UGS facilities are being operated in 26 gas storage facilities in the Russian Federation. of these, 17 are in depleted gas fields, 8 in aquifers and 1 object in salt caverns. Underground gas storage in the aquifer is an artificial gas reservoir created in the reservoir, the pore space of which was completely filled with water. To create a UGS in an aquifer of an anticline structure, a natural reservoir is needed with a reliable cap that can seal an artificial gas reservoir for a long time. When operating an underground gas storage facility, it is necessary to monitor the movement of the gas-water contact, the pressure in the gas part of the deposit and control the mass of the gas. These problems can be solved by means of mathematical modeling.
