Structure-tuned and thermodynamically controlled mechanochromic self-recovery of AIE-active Au(i) complexes

The flexible alkyl chain-tuned and temperature-dependent self-recovery behaviors aided by molecular motions in a series of AIE-active Au(i) complexes was investigated.
