Technical Status of Corn Silage in China

Along with the people living standard enhancement and growing demands for animal products, this requires feed industry development to promote livestock farming. Corn is one of important silage material and it has relatively high rates of biological yield and feeding value, so corn silage has been paid more and more attention. This paper elaborated from four aspects of corn silage as variety,planting, silage technology and quality evaluation to illustrate the technical status of corn silage in China and might be used as a reference for future growth.
