Chevalierlin: a spirocyclic alkaloid from a hydrothermal vent associated fungus Aspergillus chevalieri TW132-65

A previously undescribed spirodiketopiperazine-indole alkaloid, chevalierlin (1), two pairs of previously undescribed dihydroisocoumarin enantiomers eurotiumides H-I (2-3), as well as six related known compounds (4-9) were isolated from the culture of a hydrothermal vent associated fungus Aspergillus chevalieri TW132-65.
