With the rapid development of fuel cell vehicle, the testing capabilities of fuel cell vehicle and its key components are gradually improved. Therefore, the testing and evaluation technology of proton exchange membrane for fuel cell is focused on. In this paper, the testing and evaluation system of proton exchange membrane for fuel cell covering the key performance indicators, the test methods, and the evaluation methods was built. Firstly, the key performance indicators of proton exchange membrane were clarified based on the product evaluation requirements. Then, the testing methods about the comprehensive performance and durability of proton exchange membrane for fuel cell were established according to the testing experience, respectively. Finally, according to the industry development status of the products, the evaluation functions of proton exchange membrane for fuel cell were built to evaluate the product performance. The comprehensive score of proton exchange membrane was obtained according to the testing result scores and the corresponding indicator weight factors. Two proton exchange membranes for fuel cell were tested and evaluated by the proposed methods. The product performance can be quantitative analyzed by the testing and evaluation results. The industrialization process of the key components for fuel cell was actively promoted.
