摘要
In this research, a method for improving the uniformity of heating in domestic microwave ovens is provided in an effort to address the issue of heating inconsistency. The innovation of this design is to quantitatively analyze the field distribution of the dual source and dual frequency design. The standard deviation of the field distribution can more explicitly reflect the development of inconsistency. Concurrently, it can enhance food flavor and prevent localized overheating. The scheme is as described below: using two sources and dual frequency at the bottom of the heating cavity in an orthogonal configuration to create a double-frequency feeding strategy. The two feeds have a 20 MHz frequency gap. Better simulation results are achieved by characterising the homogeneity of electric field intensity while using CST microwave studio to build and simulate the design scheme; most notably, the new design has a 411.7 standard deviation in electric field intensity in the intended area, compared to a 1262.5 standard deviation in the case of a single source. Additional proof of the enhanced uniformity is provided by on-load simulation of the design concept.
