摘要
Objective
To observe the expression of vesicular associated membrane protein 5 (VAMP5) in triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) and its relationship with clinicopathological features and prognosis of TNBC.
Methods
The expression of VAMP5 was detected by immunohistochemistry, and that in MDA-MB-231 cells and MCF-10A cells was detected by real-time quantitative reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR). The relationship between the expression of VAMP5 and clinicopathological parameters of TNBC patients was analyzed by SPSS 25.0 statistical software, and the survival of TNBC patients was analyzed by Kaplan-Meier method.
Results
As compared with normal breast cells, the expression level of VAMP5 in TNBC cells was significantly reduced (P 0.05).
Conclusion
The low expression of VAMP5 in TNBC tissue is negatively correlated with the malignant degree of TNBC.
