摘要
The quality (Q) factor is one of crucial parameter to the quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) resonator. However, there is few studies to report the Q-factor of QCM resonator when it works at overtone modes. Therefore, it is a key value to investigate the Q-factor of the QCM resonator working at overtone modes. Herein, we calculate the Q-factor when the resonator working at 3, 5, 7, 9 overtone modes. The experimental results show that the overtone Q factor of all measured QCMs is larger than 10 4 , and all half bandwidth is less than 2600 Hz. It means that the stability of QCM resonator working at overtone modes is high.
