Control of the Cu ion species in Cu-SSZ-13 via the introduction of Co2+ co-cations to improve the NH3-SCR activity

The cobalt co-cations were introduced to block the 2Al sites of SSZ-13 zeolite before the impregnation of Cu ions. Blocking the 2Al sites promotes the formation of highly mobile Cu ion species, which improves the NH₃-SCR activity of the catalyst.
