摘要
In a recent pile-load testing program carried out by Ontario Hydro, steel H-piles were driven near Pickering, Ontario, and later tested to determine their uplift capacity in connection with the design of tower foundations for a new transmission line. Piezometers were installed on and in the vicinity of one test pile to determine the maximum pore pressures developed during pile driving and the rate of dissipation of these pressures with time.
