Fiber and monomer recovery from an amine-cured epoxy composite using molten NaOH–KOH

Chemical recycling of aerospace grade composites using NaOH–KOH eutectic as both the reagent and solvent enables recovery of monomers at high yields and clean fibers, which were characterized and manufactured into second generation composites.
