Scoliosis has become a significant problem in adolescents. In order to reduce cost and physical injury, this paper proposes a depth camera-based scoliosis screening. First, the collected depth map and color map are fused into a point cloud, and then direct filtering, color segmentation, and point cloud smoothing are performed on the point cloud. Second, the features of scoliosis were obtained by marker extraction, dorsal midline selection and spinal line fitting. Finally, scoliosis was measured and assessed using the coronal Cobb angle and sagittal plane index. Subjects were screened for the spine, and the method presented in this paper showed little difference in Cobb angles from X-rays.
