摘要
Objective To explore the feasibility of eliminating the supportive tissue around the urethra to establish animal model for stress urinary incontinence (SUI) with female beagles. Methods A total of 9 1-year-old female beagles were divided into 2 groups randomly. Group A comprised 4 dogs whose bilateral and ventro-side supportive tissues of urethra were eliminatd and pubeurethral ligaments were cut off. If SUI was not observed, the supportive tissue around the urethra was eliminatd ultimately. Group B comprised 5 dogs whose bilateral supportive tissues of urethra and supportive tissue between urethra and va-gina were eliminatd. If SUI was not observed, the bilateral adhesive tissues of urethra and adhesive tissues between urethra and vagina were eliminatd. Results Three beagles in group A and all beagles in group B had SUI. The maximum urethral closure pressure of normal and incontinent beagles was (47.0±15.6) cm H_2O and (28.6 ± 11.9) cm H_2O, the abdominal leak point pressure of normal and incontinent beagles was (131.9±24. 1) cm H_2O and (74.0±10.6) cm H_2O, respectively. Conclusion The estabhshment of animal model for SUI by eliminating the supportive tissue around the urethra of female beagles is feasible, and this model can be observed directly and has high achievement ratio. The vagina and tissue between ure-thra and vagina may have a greater value in urinary continence than urethral ventro-side tissue (including pubourethral ligament) in female beagles.
