Five chemical constituents were isolated from the fresh aerial parts of Musella lasiocarpa (Franch.) C.Y.Wu. They were identified as tetracosane(1), beta-sitosterol(2), steraric acid(3), 2,4-dihydroxy benzoic acid(4) and stigmast-7, 22-dien-3beta-O-glucoside(5) by means of IR, EI-MS, ~(1)H NMR and ~(13)C NMR spectral analysis. They were isolated from the genus fro the first time.
