摘要
The ionic conductivity of CaF2-SrF2 solid solution has been studied as a function of temperature. The results indicate that at any temperature the conductivity is high for intermediate compositions in comparison to the end members and varies nonlinearly with composition. The activation energies in the mixed crystals show lower values than the end members. The formation energies have been calculated and compared with experimental results. The trend in conductivity data appear such that at CaF2 end, the conductivity is dominated by Ca2+ ion, while at SrF2 end, the results are dominated by Sr2+ ions.
