AIM:To study the chemical constituents of the fruit of Garcinia xipshuanbannaensis.METHOD:The compounds were isolated by column chromatography with silica gel and Sephadex LH-20,whose structures were elucidated by spectral analysis.RESULTS:Twelve compounds were obtained and identified as tovophyllin B(Ⅰ),β-sitosterol(Ⅱ),ursolic acid(Ⅲ),1-stearyl alcohol(Ⅳ),Isogarcinol(Ⅴ),3',5,7-trihydroxy-4'-methoxyflavone(Ⅵ),luteolin(Ⅵ),luteolin-7-O-glucuronic acid methylester(Ⅷ),daucosterol(Ⅸ),vitexin(Ⅹ),β-D-arabinose(Ⅺ)and saccharose(Ⅻ).CONCLUSION:Compounds Ⅰ,Ⅲ-Ⅸ have been isolated from the plant for the first time.
