摘要
To describe the human corneal surface, due the absence of complete topographical data, mathematical models are required. The mathematical formula permits a relatively simple representation to explore the physical and optical characteristics of the cornea, with particular parameters. Advanced mathematical models are applied for human vision studies, solid modelling and biomechanical behavior of the cornea. The objective of this paper is to present an overview of basis theoretical and experimental researches for human corneal modelling using mathematical models.
