摘要
This study introduces a solution-processed method for producing graphene-wrapped aligned silver nanowires (AgNWs) using electrodeless deposition, electrospinning, and subsequent electrodeposition. In contrast to their unwrapped counterparts, the graphene wrapping leads to a 46% reduction in sheet resistance while preserving transmittance. Finite-element theory-based electrical–thermal coupling analysis on AgNWs uncovers that a significant potential gradient, in conjunction with symmetrically distributed Joule heat, instigates the electrical failure of AgNWs. The graphene shell not only enhances the Joule heating stability of AgNWs but also boosts their electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness by 20%, driven by amplified dual reflections and multiple dielectric relaxation processes.
