摘要
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) is a powerful analytical tool with the ability to not only identify chemical structures, but to examine non-covalent interactions in soils. Here, a range of modern NMR techniques is examined and their potential for soil research is summarized. In addition, a brief description of the pertinent theory and sample preparation, along with examples from the literature and practical experimental considerations is presented. The overall goal is to provide an overview and showcase of the strengths and capabilities of NMR, which is accessible to specialists and non-specialists alike.
