摘要
Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) belongs to the γ-herpes virus family and is a double-stranded DNA virus. EBV infection is extremely common in the human population. EBV can escape the body's immune attack and establish a lifelong latent infection in B lymphocytes. EBV infection can cause different degrees of immune response in the body, involving almost all organs and tissues of the body, causing a variety of non-malignant lymphatic growth diseases, neoplastic diseases, and autoimmune diseases. EBV laboratory tests can help to diagnose EBV infection and identify the phase of infection. The mechanism of EBV infection is complicated. After infection, the clinical disease spectrum is wide, the severity is different, and the prognosis varies widely. Understanding the prognosis and related factors of EBV infection-related diseases is of great significance for its clinical prevention and treatment. This article reviews the research progress of EBV infection-related diseases as well as their clinical detection, treatment, and prognosis.
