Knowledge and willingness to teach cardiopulmonary resuscitation: a survey amongst 4273 teachers

Introduction: The European Resuscitation Council recommends cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) teaching at school. In Flanders (Belgium), CPR is a mandatory part of the secondary school's education programme. School teachers may play an important role in teaching CPR, but little is known about their knowledge and willingness to do so. We therefore conducted a survey amongst Flemish teachers.
