Facile synthesis of benzoxazole derivatives by a multi-component reaction catalysed by copper complexes capable of generating phenoxyl radical complex

Cu( ii ) complexes were designed, synthesized, and characterized. The molecular structures of the complexes were determined by X-ray crystallography. Catalytic activity studies on these complexes afforded benzoxazole derivatives via a radical pathway.
