An HPLC method has been developed to determine the following nucleotides and dinucleotides: IMP, ATP, ADP, AMP, NAD, NADP, NADH, NADPH. The method has been applied to liver, muscle and brain of trout (N=11). It appears that the chromatographic run is rapid (⋍30 min) and allows the simultaneous determination of the above-listed compounds with a recovery of 95%. The results are discussed with reference to the literature about fish, and focused on the sampling method.
