摘要
The crystal growth and the characterization of II-III2-VI4 compounds are reviewed. The results concerning the detection of excitons in such crystals are presented. Ion implantation is shown for the first time to be a perspective tool for changing the type of conductivity in these materials. The trends of their applications are analysed.
