Lotthanongine, an unprecedented flavonoidal indole alkaloid from the roots of Thai medicinal plant, Trigonostemon reidioides

Lotthanongine, a novel flavonoidal indole alkaloid, was isolated from the roots of Trigonostemon reidioides (Euphorbiaceae) together with afzelechin-(4α→8)-afzelechin. The structural elucidations were based on analysis of the spectroscopic data. Lotthanongine was isolated from the roots of Trigonostemon reidioides .
