摘要
This paper introduces the working principle and mode of SVG (Static Var Generator) [1]-[3], the application of SVG in engineering is analyzed through a practical case. This paper describes the treatment process of voltage fluctuation, harmonic measurement, analysis and calculation of reactive power compensation equipment in an iron and steel base, the solution of SVG is put forward, the harmonic generation and grid voltage fluctuation in the production process are effectively reduced. The practical application effect of reactive power compensation and overcoming grid voltage fluctuation is realized. The technical feasibility and economic rationality of the system are fully verified by the field operation.
