摘要
Abstract The vibrational spectrum of the spinel structure is treated by a factor group analysis. Four IR active and five Raman active bands are predicted in agreement with observation. The various types of ordering which can take place in the spinel structure are examined theoretically and the predicted changes in the infrared spectra are compared with literature data.
