Schwannomas arecommon, benign neurogenictumors and rarely malignant. CT, MRI, ultrasound test, pathology and other auxiliary examinations play an important role in the diagnosis of head and neck schwannomas. Surgical treatment is the preferred method for the treatment of head and neck schwannomas, currently. The surgical approach is generally based on the tumor size and location, in adition to surgeon's habits. This article reviews the epidemiological, clinical features, auxiliary examination, diagnosis and treatment of this disease by reviewing the existing literatures at home and abroad.
