Impact of soy isoflavones (genistein) on allergic asthma in epidemiologic and mouse models: national birth cohort in South Korea and murine model

The association between soy supplementation and asthma risk reduction remains controversial. We sought to demonstrate the association between soy intake in newborns and reduced asthma risk in a birth cohort, and secondarily examine the mechanism of soy isoflavone in a murine model of allergic asthma.
