摘要
Controllable and dynamic growth of covalent nanostructures have been prepared and characterized by scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) with atomic resolution at solid-liquid interface. This article reviews recent research on the construction of surface supported covalent nanostructures at solid-liquid interfaces. The focus here is to provide the reader with a comprehensive survey on the synthetic strategies and formation mechanism of different dimensional nanostructures. Furthermore, some potential opportunities and remaining challenges have been discussed.
